9 The brother of humble circumstances should boast in his exaltation, 10 but the one who is rich should boast in his humiliation because he will pass away like a flower of the field.
In Christianity, we are all the same, the poor or humble or less influential vs the rich or very influential are the same in God’s eyes. It is our soul that God is concerned about, not our riches and possessions that can disappear in an instant. We don’t want to rely on what we “have” or don’t have to save us, we need a relationship with Christ. This is great news! We have an opportunity despite our worldly circumstances to have a deep fulfilling relationship with Christ. Take a few minutes today to evaluate where you are putting your worth.
