2 Consider it a great joy, my brothers, whenever you experience various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. 4 But endurance must do its complete work, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing.
We want the work that Christ does in us to be complete. That means that we don’t quit when this life gets a bit uncomfortable or hard, we endure! Our maturity displays daily as all of the attributes of the Christian character are exposed. Our desire is to be complete in mind, body, and soul.
A while back I saw this quote: I tried to throw in the towel, but God threw it back to me and said, “Wipe your face, you are almost there!” Keep going when things are tough and grab the person next to you and help them along! You are almost there!
